As I flip through the cards, I'll tell you what the cards mean and what this could possibly mean for you.
In most people's minds, "Tarot card reading" means a woman in flowing robes, leaning over a small table in a candlelit room, foretelling impending doom.
But that's NOT really what Tarot cards are about.
Tarot readings can be incredibly accurate and a lot depends on the deck of cards in relation to you and your tarot reader. It may help you to understand the tarot and how they work then you will be able to connect more easily with what they reveal to you.
Well...that all depends on your definition of accurate. The tarot is a snapshot in time. While the future is dynamic and always in flux, the tarot will tell you what will happen if you choose to do nothing. In some cases, it can also tell you how you should proceed.
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”...
The word "Reiki" translates to mean "spiritually guided life force energy." The awareness that an unseen energy flows through all living things and directly affects the quality of a person's health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times.
When your life force energy is low, you may feel low, have difficulty dealing with stress; you may not sleep well, and you are more susceptible to illness or general unhappiness. When your energy is strong, you feel stronger and happier; you can more easily deal with stress, and are less likely to get sick. Reiki is a technique that increases your supply of this energy.
...and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.
A chakra is an energetic center within the auric and physical body of every human. They are also referred to as discs or nodes, and serve as the nonphysical highway through which cosmic energy travels, connecting this energy with the physical body. This cosmic energy is what we call Life Force or Prana.
Although there are over 100 chakras total in the body, only seven are considered major. These seven align with specific, vertically stacked key points along the midline of the physical body, and are the main centers that yogis and energy workers tend to focus in on.
The chakras are formed at the junction of three connected energy shafts that ascend the spine, one on each side of the central channel. Chakras both take up and collect prana (life force energy) and transform and pass on energy. Our material bodies could not exist without them for they serve as gateways for the flow of energy and life into our physical bodies.
These seven chakras, when awakened, cause a transformation of consciousness and physical changes in the body.
